Every story has a beginning. The beginning of our common history begins today. In Konopnica (Lubelskie Voivodeship) Instytut Biotechnologii Przemysłu Rolno – Spożywczego im. prof. Wacława Dąbrowskiego PIB successfully carried out the first phase of launching an indoor farm that will grow medical cannabis in Poland.
The second phase of the project is underway and will kick off later this year.
The Institute has been preparing for this day since March 24, 2022, when the amendment to the act came into force, enabling the cultivation of non-fibrous cannabis for the production of pharmaceutical raw materials by institutes supervised by the Minister of Agriculture.
The key partners of the entire project are Cannabisland and Rafał Lachowski and Jakub Lachowski, who support the activities carried out by the Institute.
